RE: Havelis in Churu - A Guide. When You Choose a Non-Standard Destination and It Truly Pays Off

Beautiful photos @x-rain, and what an architecture, I hope they can preserve it. I love those intricately carved doors, and they would actually suit here! The glowy colour of the building reminds me a bit of the ones here in the Cotswolds, that honey coloured, golden or pearly white. They probably used a similar kind of material, here has some iron oxide in it. You’ve done so well, and it’s so brave of you to travel through unfamiliar places. The rent prices are good! I’m sure you’re being careful and watchful in the trickier areas. :)

Hopefully, they will preserve. Have no idea why they didn't nominate Churu - Mandawa for the UNESCO list - more travelers would start visiting the area - more money for preservation.

I do my best! :-)

Thank you!
