Hello everyone
We had a bus ticket for Amol at 7:30. Tehran is the Capital of Iran and it's very crowded. That time in the morning is the time when most people go to work so there was traffic in nearly every street. We had to get up early. We did our best and woke up at about quarter an hour to 6. Said our prayers, packed our things, ate breakfast and left the house for bus terminal. Fortunately using the BRT, we reached the terminal at 7:30. We ran in to the terminal just to find out that our bus won't leave in half an hour. So all the rushes and hurries were pointless. We bought few things to eat in the bus and then got in the bus.
Everything going according to the plan, we reached the road that leads to Filband and Got out of the bus. The only problem was that our plan didn't include anything after this.
As we were gathering our backpacks, we were thinking and talking about how to go the next 30 km to Filband. It's completely uphill with a steep incline, and the road to Filband is not a main road, so there's not much traffic going on.
It was time to hitchhike. There was a relatively high truck traffic that brought us hope, but after stopping one of them, we found out that they're just going to the mine that is about 2-3 km far. So we waited more and we got our selves a pickup truck. A blue Nissan pickup which is very popular in Iran. It's so popular that we just call it Blue Nissan and everyone knows that we mean this vehicle:
And if it's not blue, (as a funny way to refer to it) we say something like "a white blue Nissan".
That Nissan took us about 4-5 km further, but it was still much left to go. So we waited for the next car, not too much. The next car was even older:
First, we thought we're hitchhiking, but at some point, we found out that the driver is in the tourism business and definitely he will charge us for this ride.
In the middle of the way, the driver stopped to eat some local fruits. (which i don't know the name).
The road wasn't smooth or even wide enough through few of the turns, but it was beautiful.
When we reached Filband, we paid about 4 dollar (1 dollar each) for the ride. It might sound so little, but it's not. Because gas costs so little in Iran (about 12 liter for 1 dollar), transportation costs are low here. So we blamed the friend who talked with the driver and made fun of him for the rest of the travel.
When we reached Filband we headed toward the mountains to find a good camping spot, but we were weaker and lazier than what we thought. There were many dogs (friendly ones as you can see) wandering around in the village. It wasn't hard to make friend with them, so did my friend.
We tried not to miss any natural beauty.
After less than a kilometer of waking, which took us more than half an hour, we reached a beautiful place that was good for camping.
But... we didn't set the camp there... . We realized it's more safe to sleep in the village. So we settled down there for eating lunch.
We cooked sausage and egg (have you ever tried it?. Filband is famous for it's clouds but unfortunately there wasn't many clouds when we reached there. We asked the driver about it and he told us that there will be more clouds by sunset. So we waited. But:
Even those few clouds were GONE!.
We headed back to the village, examining every possible spot for camping. Finally we set our camp here. In a wide open area, close to a cell phone telecommunication tower.
And the dog was still with us. (lower left corner).
It was time for boiling water to drink tea and cook something for dinner. Though we were prepared, but we didn't have all the necessary stuff for cooking, so we used what was presented around the camp site with creativity to set a fireplace, stir the food and boil the water and cook a meal at the same time. Blaming each other, suggesting a solution, laughing, trying and finally reaching what we want after lots of compromising. And while all this were happening i was (to be more exact, my camera was) taking a time-lapse of the cell phone telecommunication tower, the sky, the stars and the clouds.
And that was how the day ended. We were tired but happy and fullfilled. And i thinks that's what we all are looking for, being happy from deep inside.
!!! I had difficulty uploading photos via steempeak, so i uploaded photos via steemit and copied the link in steempeak. Steempeak has a good editor but i had problem with uploading photos many times.
Hey man, I had fun reading this.
Brought back memories of my travels. That one with the dust storm, a dog and your friend looks like a cover picture of a game(something post apocalyptic LOL)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Deep inside, i like that mood, so i find it in many situations. I'll post more photos like this soon.
Amazing adventures man. @kamile and I have been to Iran some time ago too. Northern part of the country was our favourite.
Any plan for visiting Iran again?
Yeah northern part of Iran is a favorite place for many people, that's why there's lots of trash left in the nature.

We always say: Better early than late :) Imagine you wouldn't rush, something would happen on the road and you would be too late for the bus. It wouldn't make you very happy :)
Is this normal to hitchhike in Iran? Isn't that too dangerous? Probably not when you're with more people. But what if you travel alone?
I see that even a few kilometers took you way to long to get there..
That dog is very friendly. Did it follow you afterwards as well? It probably was looking for an adoption family :)
I like your adventure :) It looks like it was challenging but you still had a lot of fun. AND those stars!! WOW!
Thank you for sharing!
I also say it, but you know, just saying it most of the time and do it sometimes. haha
Though it's not very common but it is safe in most of Iran. there are few cities close to countries like Pakistan and Iraq that are not as safe as the rest of the Iran, but in general, Iran is a safe country.
It was like it had a home there, so when we were close to his home, he was around us but when we left for the main part of the village, he didn't follow. Yeah i think he was. haha
Thanks!

Regarding the @steempeak question How big were the files you were uploading?
Or how many MB for all 17 total?
29.6 MB for all of them. About 1-2MB each.
Thanks for the heads up. That's a lot. I'm not sure what our limit is per 24hrs... but i'll run this by the team.
Good to see there are people trying to make things better here.

It was a great adventure, I loved the way you explained your trip and your experiences .. I love this type of post here in Steemit, without the need to travel we can see new places through a screen ,, Very nice pictures that You captured ... I'm very glad that you shared it with us, a hug from Venezuela @sina-adventure .. !!
Man..Iran is one of 3 countries I really really want to visit next - Brazil, Iran and USA. Brazil cuz of jiu jitsu, Iran cuz I've heard sooo much about it and while I was in Pakistan, several my friends went ove there for weeks and came back and told me stories...and USA cuz of NY.
But dude, your pictures are totally amazing. As I was making my way thru the post, I was making notes which ones I want to comment haha :D Well the long exposure from night has to be a winner. But yeah, also the dog looking on the landscape, the bbridge with hitchhiker notes or the one with the dog and dust. All are totally amazing :)
And of course I've tried eggs and sausage hah :D
Thanks for the detailed comment.
So you traveled to Pakistan, but not Iran?! That was a mistake. haha
If you're planning to travel to Iran, i might help you, i have friends working in tourism business, they might have someuseful information about traveling to Iran.
Thought i like that stary sky shot, but my favorite is the dog and my friend in the fog. It has a kind of feeling that i like. If you don't mind i'll be glad to know what kind of feeling that shot evokes in you? (The hitchhiker and the dog in the mist)
What an awesome trip. You are hardcore on roughing it. I travel a lot in my life, but I need a bed!
It's nice to see good information about Iran. This country is so demonized in the West. But now I am in SE Asia and see direct flights to Tehran. You have wonderful photos to show us. The stray dogs are nice here too :)
Thanks! It wasn't as rough as i wanted it to be, but anyway, it was a very joyful trip. Regarding roughing, you should check this post.

I'm glad that you consider this as "good information" and also that my hard work is being seen. So just take one and come to Iran. haha.
Thanks again! So dogs are generally nice.
It sounds like you and your friends were having a great time. Those are some great shots as well. It always happens, you carry everything with you but the kitchen sink and you still forget to bring the one thing that you need.
Traveling in the middle east is on my bucket list, I don't know when I will make it happen but it will eventually happen. I just hope to not act too much like a tourist while I'm there. LOL, I like to try and blend in when I go places, but I doubt that it would happen over there...
Great post and Congrats on the curie vote as well.
Yes we were. Thanks! Yeah, But something that i learned from video games is that if you want to do something and you don't have the necessary tools, most definitely those tools are available in the area, you should just look around. If you believe in it, it will work. :)
Why not? people here are mostly kind to tourist (and less with our own people) so it's not bad to act like them, but it will cost you more in some stores. haha.
Thanks!
howdy from Texas sina-adventure! what a fun post! I like the shot of the shoe about to step on the flower, very good. The writing was great and detailed and the photos are all wonderful so good job and is well deserving of a curie.
Do you have other travel plans to post about?
Hi!
Thanks!
It makes me more confident when i see such a comment from you (as someone who lives in Texas, USA.) You know, English is not my primary language, so sometimes i'm not sure if i'm right or wrong.
Thanks again. Yes, but i'm slow in writing travel posts...
howdy again sina-adventure..I think your English is very good so I wouldn't be too concerned, I think you are doing very well!
