Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

According to the information I got from several residents of Kota Kuala Simpang, they said that this was the biggest flood in the history of Aceh Tamiang. In 2006, floods also hit Aceh Tamiang and it was also quite a dark history even until now, but the flood in 2025 was even more devastating, such as one of the villages that was quite close to the big river of Aceh Tamiang, namely Kota Lintang village, which received the worst impact, this village almost disappeared and until now the residents of the village are still displaced.

Now is the 23rd day after the flood, all the roads are covered with very thick dust, this dust comes from the dried mud and it is one of the severe impacts after the flood recedes. This is a flash flood, this flood brings a lot of mud, even in some areas the mud height reaches 5 meters, how do they clean the mud.? The house is buried in mud.

Along the road we can also find many residents standing on the side of the road, they are not beggars but now they are begging, they hope for food and clothing, there are some residents who still have houses, the bad news is what about those who have lost their homes.?
It's all about circumstances, they don't want this but this is the destiny of nature that comes uninvited.

Look at how terrible the impact of this flood is, not only the houses were lost, but the land was also lost, carried away by the flood current, this village is right on the edge of a large river and that is why this village was very seriously affected. The good news is that help continues to come, I just want to say thank you to many good people.

This is the city center of Kuala Simpang, an old city in Aceh Tamiang. Look at this city now, it looks really messy, doesn't it.?
Trash, wood, and building debris are everywhere, the roads are covered in thick, slippery mud, and a foul odor permeates almost the entire area. Everyone is trying to survive by any means necessary.
The good news now is that road access has returned to normal, allowing aid to enter easily by land, now everyone has received their respective rations so there is no more looting. Exactly a week after the flood, this city was called a zombie city, people would think if they wanted to come here, land aid was cut off, hunger was the main reason people did unreasonable things like looting.

Every corner of the city is covered in thick mud, some parts of the road are even impassable. This is a very concerning sight, seen hard work residents who are cleaning their homes and shops. I have not received information about people who are still displaced. The question is, how long will they be displaced? For the refugees who have lost their homes and land, where will they stay?
The refugee camp is now located above the twin bridges of Aceh Tamiang. The refugee camp was built on the new bridge while the old bridge is the only access to cross the large river of Aceh Tamiang.

I can't conclude how long it will take for the city to recover and return to normal, but this repair will definitely take a very long time.

I suffered seeing these images.
I had already seen news reports and other images of so much pain, but they always weigh heavily on me... I only hope, as I told you before, that the situation will soon turn around and smiles will return to everyone's faces.
You are absolutely right my friend, and that is what everyone hopes for.
Hopefully this will all be resolved quickly, hopefully this old city will become better in the future.
Thank you very much for your support and kind comments my friend
My warmest wishes to all its inhabitants!
In the early days of the year, when the floods wreaked havoc in our country and people had to migrate from one place to another, there were many difficulties for them too. I hope the community will definitely support you people and things will get better again.

For some people, they still have a house, but some people have lost their house and the land where they live, I am confused and sad when I think about this.
Hopefully everything will be resolved quickly, enthusiasm is the most important thing

This was really sad 😢 but it was good that the road was already accessible so the relief and other help will be easy to reach the place and the person in need. I'm praying that one day you will soon recover and be better from yesterday despite the disaster that you encountered. As you mentioned on your post those who are on the street sides are not beggars before but right now they are begging for help to anyone who can extend their help. I know one day everything will be back to normal. Always wear your mask because the dusk coming from the dried mud was dangerous. We are far from each other but I can help by praying that one day you will soon recover and everything will be back to normal. Please stay safe.
Scenes like this after a calamity is really heartbreaking☹️. Praying for everyone affected that they may get through and things would be back to normal soon.
Nature has the power to beautify and also destroy. I feel so bad for people who live in this country, who are, affected because it might have really affected them so badly.
But I will encourage everyone never give up they should be grateful for life then gradually fixed themselves again.
That's right, trying to keep fighting is one of the most important things, enthusiasm to continue living life
Glad you're here, thank you very much for your support and kind comments.
