In case you took a leave of two weeks and just came back to Hive, you might have missed an important announcement.
HOLOZING, a new game project was announced a few days ago by @acidyo who collected a bunch of guys proficient in different aspects of game development to make his dream game come to life on this very blockchain.
Here is how the Whitepaper describe this game:
"HoloZing is a Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game. It draws strong inspiration from classics like Pokémon and World of Warcraft."
The game's in-game currency token is $ZING and they later shared how the tokens are distributed. One of the best things I liked is there is no pre-mine or team share and that sort of thing. So, the distribution is fair for everyone.
Earning $ZING
There are multiple ways to earn $ZING token right now.
- By Delegating Hive Power (HP) to @zingtoken
I delegated 1K HP to @zingtoken just a couple of days ago. The total delegation to that account has crossed 2 million HP. We can see that everyone is excited and doesn't want to miss the chance to receive those juicy tokens.
- By Holding $POSH
We now have a good use case for $POSH token as holding them in your wallet (not staking) will get you eligible for $ZING drops. There are limited number of drops, some 40,000 ZING daily which is small in comparison to 200,000 tokens daily distributed to delegators.
I have less than 6 $POSH tokens in my wallet.
- By Staking $ZING
Staked tokens will give you more tokens, the daily drop is 20,000 $ZING tokens.
- By providing Liquidity
ZING:SWAP.HIVE pool is created already and you will be rewarded if you provide liquidity to the pool. The rewards are put on hold for this to get everyone chance to collect more $ZING tokens so to allow fair chance of earning.
You can claim your tokens by going to https://holozing.com/rewards and signing in with Keychain.
You can delegate directly from the website by clicking on that "Delegate" button and entering the amount of HP and signing the transaction. Also, you can start unstaking if you want some Liquid tokens. Just keep in mind it will take 4 weeks to completely unstake with you receveing 25% after each week.

I am very excited to see how this game takes shape, we have a vibrant community and any project that can leverage it will be going to be very successful. This is very early days but I have trust in the team and so far, the artwork and concept are just fire!

I have played some Pokemon games. Exploring, battling, training and catching new pokemons is a fun gameplay loop, I hope they can provide the fun and adventure we had with those games. I am very hopeful.
Well, maybe it is time for me to go back to one of those games until we can get our hands on HoloZing!

They look nice, I would have liked to see more of the game and I will surely investigate because it is interesting. That if you have brought a lot of information about your token, thank you because I had no idea about this new project.

Looks interesting, as soon as I saw the first image I immediately thought of Pokemon. It would be great to see a gameplay soon, it looks like a promising project.
