I downloaded SteemWorld JS source back in 2020 because I couldn't handle the owner refusing to bring it to Hive. Registered in a domain called Hivetasks as suggestion from the owners of D.Buzz. At first it was for personal use, so I use a $5/month server to host it.
It's being quite painful to change anything in that source code. That and the fact I have income lower than $500/month is why it's still quite buggy in several mechanisms.
I liked this tool a lot too. Would be nice if this could migrate to a HAF tool instead. But given that I suspect the creator will not want to come into hive... that will be hard.
Assuming this is still closed source... right?

Based on the fundamentals of the token and its inflation schedule for paying out rewards, I'm not sure we will ever see sustained token price appreciation. I hold it to earn creator/curator rewards, have a say in stake-weighted voting, and secure the backside of $HBD.
Excess inflation is definitely too high. It would be good if the only inflation was the one we can project. But there are other things like Interest on HBD which hive can't support on these prices. Paid interest means too much new hive created. This feature has to be cut imo.
I don't know the solution, and to be honest, I barely even know the basics of $HIVE token. It is not something I am actively investing in, but I am happy to receive it as rewards and compound my savings by staking my $HBD. Maybe I will pay more attention once I break 1000 HBD.

We might get this when BTC ll bounce soon. Then all guys: "we aren't silly, we sell soon as it's only a short bounce on the big way down". Then BTC ll fall to 50K & HIVE ll make the double bottom. In 2026, BTC finds the bottom, ETH goes to new ATH & HIVE & other alts will grow.

Technically this would be super easy to implement.
When I originally designed the user interface for snaps I intentionally removed the reputation to have a sort of "fresh start" of the new system. Do you think this would be useful? cc @gabrielatravels
I do! I believe it would also be easier for the newbies to figure out faster who these people who create high-quality content are and are worth following or take into consideration their opinion when being shared!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you are hoping for card value to appreciate over time, then have I got a wake-up call for you.
The best case would be a card becoming a WILD meta staple and retaining value after rotation. There's plenty of data about the alternative.
I think the same; cards that can actually be quite useful in the game tend to maintain their value.
Really I just hope it keeps its value as I use it for better battle payouts. I need every bit I can squeeze out in the lower levels.
But to your point about the Gold Foil, I think going for the GF option when it is less than 150% of the RF price is a no-brainer. They will definitely hold their value better than the RF copies!
Yeah, always buy the gold when it's not much more (or even cheaper) than getting the same level card in regular foil. At least with newer cards, when you don't have to worry about supply.
I choose GF cards for strategic reasons, mainly because of the 10% win bonus, for collecting (since these current versions are beautiful), and also because if I need to get rid of some cards in the future, they might still bring in some good money.

Seeing $HIVE dip again makes me wonder… if it ever drops to 3–4 cents, that honestly feels like a solid accumulation zone for me. Not excited about the drop, but prepared if the opportunity shows up. Patience mode on.
