I just got a new fancy badge. Delegating too much doesn't make sense, it's called power for a reason.
The scariest part about the badge is how many people earned it and haven't been active for years. We know accounts are abandoned, but damn it sucks to see a list of them like that.
Well, that's not scary, rather natural to me :) Your HP increases over time with inflation. And if you're inactive long enough, you likely didn't consider delegating out that much.
That's fair enough. A bunch of those accounts are at 2,xxx so it would make sense that it's just HP that's been earned being idle.
Post rewards thinning, prices dropping, and the user base feeling quieter than usual… this really feels like the ultimate test of our Hive loyalty. Wishing all the best to everyone still building and showing up here. Stay strong, Hive folks 💪

Hive has some things going for it:
Never got the anti-ads thing. If a UI uses them to pay costs and buy Hive, isn't that good? Currently, DHF-funded frontends drive sell pressure.
I agree on the other points and we should talk more about those points when reaching outside people.
I'm not totally against ads to make a site viable, but they can be intrusive. I do use an ad-blocker to make some sites bearable.
100% and there are so many example of intrusive and invasive ads. So I get what you mean.
Just wanted to add some nuance to it.

After several requests I decided to remove something that was annoying me quite a bit in Hivetasks: the "Effective Comment Vote".
But I didn't remove completely. It's still visible under the vote transaction instead ob being its own transaction.
Finally managed to fix that nasty error that kept happening every time Hivetasks tries to retrieve user history data.
