We did consider to take a bit of profit. But with the artist doing almost all the work and doing all the communication, we thought that it would be OK to let them have it all.…

Noted (about the wood burning pieces :) It is still an experiment, but maybe it can help starting some more trade in Steem. It would be a good thing for us all.
