Where is SPRING…? Little LAMBS in our WINTER WONDERLAND ☃️😳

Hi all 👋🏻

It is still winter wonderland here on our mountain 🏔️ in the remote wilderness ❄️☃️ we moved to. Looking around me I see absolutely no signs of spring yet… 🌸 OR ARE THERE?
Let me share with you the arrival of our new neighbours 🐑🐏 over the last days.

Today’s selection will be of 12 PHOTOGRAPHS
Date: 26 and 27 APRIL 2024.
The Photographs in this post are all taken with my phone 📱🤓

We live very remote as you must have guessed by now, but we still have a few neighbours on the adjacent lands. What means we live in a little hamlet.
Our neighbour send us a text if we wanted to come and see the birth of his lambs 🐑🐏

Of course I would love to go and watch 😁

This little lamb was already born :

Look at his (yes it is a boy so a ram 🐏) curly hair and the spots of colour 😎 soooooo cute. My heart ♥️ melted…. 😊

We stayed a while… the next lamb was stuck and it took the neighbour a while the turn the head and help it get born. At this point it was barely alive… sadly it did not survive the night.
The third lamb was still born.
Mother sheep 🐑 is not doing so well but is still alive. So we hope the next days will go well and both survive. 🤞🏻

In the night /yesterday… the other sheep got 2 little lambs.
These 2 are all black 🐏🐏

Aawww so cute, they are smaller than the curly white one. 🥰 Both are rams 🐏 (boys)

It was such an experience to witness these little lambs being born.
The neighbour has one more sheep and she will have 2 or 3 lambs.

I will go and see if we have more neighbours this afternoon 😊 when it stops snowing 😉

These little lambs are just the cutest.

Have you ever seen lambs being born?

I have seen it many times when I grew up. Even helped when I was a child if needed…
My parents used to have a few sheep and goats 🐐 up until I was 11 years old. Many many moons 🌒 ago 😉 it sure feels like another lifetime.

It was a wonder seeing the tiny lambs yesterday, they can’t go outside yet and play in the grass… as it is still snowing 🌨️ here… even right now as I write this.

Let me show you our garden view and forest behind the house 🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲

This morning when I looked outside the bedroom window, the birds are already waiting for me to fill the feeders 🥰
Yes, there is our car… all snowed in again hahaha 🤣

Our forest… we still can’t get in there to explore.

We tried a few days ago but still sink in up to our waist 😉☃️ it is 2 meters high.

Our view over the valley 🥰

Let’s hope next week the snow starts finally melting…

So we can explore our garden and see what will pop up from under the snow. As we have not seen our garden yet 😎🤣

Weather predictions are above 0 degrees Celsius and sunny ☀️ it will go to 10 + degrees on Wednesday.
So it could go fast now… SPRING IS FINALLY IN THE AIR 🌸☀️🐏🐑
