RE: Hive at a Breaking Point A Chain Losing Its Builders Not Just Its Price

in LeoFinancelast month

Crypto is generally a dark place filled with hustlers that want to steal your money.

HIVE used to be the light. HIVE used to be one of the good ones. It’s not right now… and we need to come to terms with that.

On HIVE right now:

•It’s ok to steal from someone if the other person is “rich.”
•It’s ok to not pay someone back if the other person is “rich”
•It’s ok to openly bash big stakeholders because they influence the reward pool more than a minnow.
•It’s ok to harass people for years if someone gets downvoted.
•It’s ok to call someone a criminal or imply they will get bad karma for using their stake as they wish.
•It’s ok to claim whales are a cabal/oligarchy (even though most whales have strong personalities and mostly annoy each other).
•It’s ok to launch a meme token and then dump it on “friends” and take their money.

I am a contrarian investor. I push hard when things are hopeless. Right now I’m leaning towards we hit 5 cents in mid to late 2026.

I believe we only have about a 3% chance of turning this around.

But 3% is more than enough for humans to pull it off. Humans have a track record of being able to achieve the impossible if they want to.

I can buy as much HIVE as I want and that’s not going to change anything here.

I can’t do shit on HIVE by myself. The majority of people need to ask themselves why they came here in the first place?

If someone is here to make life changing money I think that’s ridiculous.

Like how many people actually make life changing money without creating a big business? Basically no one.

If someone wants to make it big on the next Shibu, like when is that going to happen? I don’t think it is going to happen.

It’s much more common to lose life changing money in crypto than to make life changing money.

HIVE is inflationary. Unless someone wants to do something like SPL and create an actual business with cashflow, I don’t think anything in their life is going to change.

And I’ll let everyone in on a little secret. The way you make big money plays a huge role on if you have the temperament to not spend it all.

If you win big money like a lottery on a meme token, it sets a bad precedent in your head. Most people convince themselves they are a genius and that they can do again. Then they spend all the money and become broke again. And guess what? They can’t make money like that again cause it was just dumb luck to begin with.

If people want to become rich and they want HIVE to be a success story, they need to get off their ass and put in the work. And no, that does not mean post daily, curate, or use the reward pool for some money making scheme.

People need to ask themselves, how can I add value? Maybe I can help other stakeholders with their projects? Maybe I can start my own project that will generate fiat cash outside of HIVE? (The list is much longer than that)

The answer on what someone can do to add value will be different for most people. People should figure out what their thing is and start doing it.

HIVE is a social experiment. It will be interesting to see what happens. Maybe we go to zero? Maybe we go to 20 cents? No one knows.

It should be interesting either way and I’m here for it.

I’ll be riding this thing to zero with the other whales if that’s what happens.
