To prevent the possibility of a replay attack on your Bitcoin, move your BTC to another wallet before claiming your Bitcoin Cash. You can still use the pre-split private key to claim Bitcoin Cash.

Using Electron Cash select Wallet -> Private Keys -> Sweep from the menu. Then enter your Bitcoin private keys. Obviously these keys would need to have a balance at…
