I really don't think it is going viral. Not even close to facebook or twitter during the first months. Maybe steemit needs a better interface and a better user2user interaction…

50 000 is not that much. Hopefully more and more people will join. I just find that steemit get boring quickly. Same stories over and over. Just an honest opinion.
