Por amor. / For love.

¿Alguna vez se han puesto a pensar en lo frágiles que somos cuando realmente amamos a alguien? en lo vulnerables que podemos llegar a ser. Muchas veces el amor es capaz de cambiar nuestro carácter, o hacer cosas que jamás pensamos que haríamos, sólo por una persona. Pues sí, inevitablemente el amor nos cambia, ya sea para bien o para mal.

Have you ever thought about how fragile we are when we really love someone? how vulnerable we can be. Many times love is capable of changing our character, or doing things we never thought we would do, just for one person. Yes, love inevitably changes us, either for better or for worse.

Aunque debería ser para bien (si es amor lo que en realidad sentimos) muchas veces somos capaces de hacer CUALQUIER COSA por una persona, incluso de perdernos a nosotros mismos, en busca de esa aceptación; cosa que considero que es allí donde nos equivocamos. Yo pienso que si es necesario cambiar ciertas actitudes, o más adecuado sería "mejorar"; para que la relación sea sana y perdure; cualquier tipo de relación, no solo me refiero a la amorosa.

Although it should be for the best (if what we really feel is love) many times we are capable of doing ANYTHING for a person, even losing ourselves, in search of that acceptance; which I think is where we go wrong. I think that if it is necessary to change certain attitudes, it would be more appropriate to "improve"; so that the relationship is healthy and lasts; any type of relationship, I don't just mean the loving one.

Pero no hablemos sólo de lo malo, el amor también nos hace hacer cosas maravillosas, nos permite ayudar a los demás, y todo pasa de ser un sacrificio a ser un placer, porque simplemente estamos ayudando a quien amamos. Nos hace ser felices, y querer ser mejor cada día, nos mueve; nos hace sentir vivos, porque no hay nada más bonito que amar y ser amado, que bonito es cuando es recíproco.

But let's not just talk about the bad, love also makes us do wonderful things, it allows us to help others, and everything goes from being a sacrifice to being a pleasure, because we are simply helping who we love. It makes us happy, and wanting to be better every day, moves us; it makes us feel alive, because there is nothing more beautiful than loving and being loved, how beautiful it is when it is reciprocal.

Por más amor que podamos llegar a sentir por alguien, jamás debemos olvidar el más importante, el propio, ese que nos hace aceptar el amor bonito que se que todos queremos, y rechazar aquel que nos es verdadero y solo nos hace daño. Recuerden solo podemos brindar a los demás lo que teneos en nuestro interior, si te amas, darás amor a los demás; si no, será todo lo contrario.

As much love as we can feel for someone, we must never forget the most important, our own, the one that makes us accept the beautiful love that we all want, and reject the one that is true to us and only hurts us. Remember we can only offer others what we have inside us, if you love yourself, you will give love to others; if not, it will be the opposite.
