  Another April Bloom

  Being a chemist and not a biologist I cannot give the latin name of this plant. To me it's another early bloomer that gives color and bee food to my garden.

  Black and White photo of an early bloomer - Daffodil

  Right after the crocus comes the daffodil. These are another favorite of the bees from our hives nearby. I have found that many macro shots of flowers make very nice black and white subjects.

  Someone else is enjoying the early blooms

  The bees from my hives really enjoy the early spring buffet in the garden. Notice the large glob of pollen on the bees legs. This means that they are feeding a lot of Brood (baby bees) right now.
