Mas o que ninguém esperava era que um lance em disputa de bola pudesse mudar completamente o clima e a forma de jogo. O Corinthians teve no jogo todo a maior posse de bola. Apesar de que o atacante Yuri Alberto tentou algumas vezes fazer o gol, mas nada dava certo para o Timão. O Corinthians teve 59% de posse de bola e sabemos que o Flamengo gosta de ficar com a bola, mas estrategicamente foi muito bem.
Costumamos falar que o Flamengo jogou com o regulamento debaixo do braço, pois com a vantagem de um gol a mais, soube jogar defensivamente e mesmo com um jogador a menos, fazia um bom tempo que eu não via o time tão aguerrido. Gerson foi muito gigante na partida e não é à toa que ele está sendo chamado para a Seleção Brasileira. Em mais um jogo que o Gerson foi um herói em campo.
A torcida do Corinthians é famosa por apoiar tanto na derrota, quanto na vitória e mesmo o time perdendo durante a partida, a torcida vibra e canta. Esse tipo de apoio é bem visto pelos torcedores rivais. Mas aos 35 minutos do segundo tempo, era visível a torcida abatida, era possível ouvir a torcida do Flamengo que eram um pouco mais de 2 mil pessoas. O nervosismo dentro de campo alcançou a sua torcida.
Com essa classificação, o Flamengo estará na final da Copa do Brasil, e enfrentará o Atlético-MG. Não tenho dúvidas de que será uma grande final. Um verdadeiro clássico!
