Criticized from every angle.

I could have just said it doesn't matter. Maybe assure you that their words don't define you and even give you more words to motivate you. But, it won't change the fact that it does matter and their words truly hurt.

Criticism is something humans don't take lightly because we all have a pumping heart, which means we have emotions. The moment someone says something and you aren't fazed by it anymore means something... You have heard it countless times that you now found it believable or it has now become a coping mechanism for you.

These affect our mental health, which is why I do appreciate people who criticize in a way you'll still feel appreciated.

Without studies stating the fact, I know deeply how criticism has pushed many to their point of death and kept a few others dangling on their feet because they need to prove critics wrong. They push themselves hard and never stop that it ends up becoming a habit, and with this, they miss on the little fun memories they could have created for themselves.

I don't think there's no one on earth who hasn't faced critics in their lifetime. The truth is that our actions won't be satiable to everyone. While others may see what we do and appreciate us, others may look at it and find numerous angles where critics can pour out from.

This is why I am introducing the song "Even angels cry" by Justin Bieber and Eminen.

Picking Justin is intentional because for the past few months, a lot of talks have been about him. People who had criticized him before now wish him well, but the truth is that the words they've said about him before can't be washed off overnight. He will still feel the pain, still go through that trauma, and be reminded each day of some toxic words thrown at him.

I know many of us, I included, have gone through phases in life, maybe not as this, but a traumatic event that reminds me of moments we were awfully criticized, and we still remember vividly some statements.

This might be too late or coming early. Whichever it is, just know that you can fight this. Don't let those words consume you because no one knows you better than yourself. People who critize mostly don't even know half of your story. They just speak on what they see without making an effort to know what may have caused it.

Then I have another song to add to this. It is a song I first came in contact with from a movie. I sure have forgotten the movie name, haha.

I picked the part of the song because it shows when the guy came out to the spotlight. Instead of hiding in behind the spotlight like he has been doing for long, he came out this time around, and though action wasn't reciprocated back immediately, I am sure he feels free.

Many of us have things we are scared to bring to the spotlight because of what people may say even when those things matter to us. But hiding won't solve our problem. Therefore, instead of creating a lie from the get-go, it is much better and would save us a lot of headaches if we did at the very beginning.

The last addition to #threetunestuesday by @ablaze is from another movie, "Empire." I picked this part out specifically to remind us that we are good enough.

I don't know for any other person, but for me, I believe that when we appreciate every little thing about ourselves, it builds us psychological and I have tried it out numerous times to say this, "It works" and with that we get to motivate ourselves to do more.

Don't ever belittle yourself or see yourself as someone who is not good enough. If you are not good at something, that doesn't mean you won't be good in other things. You just have to be willing to explore as many things as possible until you find the words that rhymes with your music.

Thank you 😊

Wow this is very encouraging, the truth is, we all have been criticized one time or the other. Even from our family members and loved ones to the point of crying.

The conclusion still remains, reflect if you are wrong and correct the wrongs, else turn that lemon into lemonade. And keep enjoying your beautiful life, yeah!!.

Yes, we all have.

That's right. Thanks for your honest feedback and for stopping by.

It's my pleasure 😊.

It is said that people criticize people on the things that are found lacking in themselves. It is easy to sit behind a screen or stand far off and offer criticism which would be disguised as "honest opinions" instead of being understanding to the plight of the person.

That's very right. Thanks for bringing that up.
