For the uninitiated, micro-dosing is the act of consuming sub-perceptual amounts of psychedelics, most often LSD and Psilocybin Mushrooms. ... Typically, individuals integrate sub-perceptual doses into their weekly routine for higher levels of creativity, more energy, increased focus, and improved relational skills

In general, users report five main benefits when micro-dosing (either LSD or Psilocybin Mushrooms):

· Physical

· Emotional

· Creative

· Sensual

· Spiritual

Also a growing number of young professionals in Silicon Valley insist that taking small doses of psychedelic drugs simply makes them perform better at work – becoming more creative and focused. Micro-dosing seems to improve a vast range of conditions as a medication to help with social anxiety, depression, ADHD and even quitting smoking

My experience bold

So I heard about micro-dosing a few years ago and didn’t really think mush about it till one day I heard a radio interview with Ayelet Waldman about her new book A Really Good Day . She spoke about how she used micro-dosing LSD to treat her depression. I just wanted to try it for creativity and also because I had experimented with psychedelics as a young adult and have fond memories of wonder, awe and excitement.

Micro-dosing seems to help me re-balance make me feel better with a feeling of increased health or wellness. It improves my creativity and performance on problem-solving tasks.

But it also tends to amplify my current mood, rather than act as a stimulant or numbing agent. If I am in a grumpy mood, I normally have a good day but by the end I tend to be grumpy again.

The program

For psilocybin mushrooms, a micro-dose is between .2g and .5g. This amount equates to between 1/2 and 1 dried mushroom caps. It’s import to find the sweet spot for you it can be hard without accurate scale, it took a couple try’s but I have mine sorted just from sight. My program is in 10 week cycles. 10 weeks on 10 weeks off. For the on weeks I would micro-dose every 3 days. After a couple of weeks, I get into a state of well being and then I would sometimes forget to micro-dosing. I might then just dose only weekly.

The hard bit… How do you get mushrooms?

There are a number of way to get your hands on mushrooms. They can be found in many parts of the world wild. They can be home grown and purchased from a underground market place.

For me I just ask a few friend and then one day I got a random phone call from a friend of a friend. I just chatted for a bit and texted my address to them. About a week later I received a package in the post, inside was something that looked like a gift for a kids. It had dinosaur wrapping paper in there was 20 grams of wild harvested Psilocybe subaeruginosa. It's not what you know it who you know.
