This is also a verse from the holy scriptures. If one is ill, travelling, pregnant or on their monthly cycle, they are exempted from fasting. Although they are recommended to keep the missed fast later, if not then to feed those in need. There is only social pressure if one accepts the pressure and allows it to pressurise them.
Yes some work conditions and weather conditions can make it challenging to fast for some, but rewards don't come easy and God sees the input to.
Yes, In'sha'Allah may God give us all the will power and accept the efforts Ameen
alizerozero (33)in #someeofficial • 2 years agoRE: Dear SoMeeians, Those who are observing the month of Ramadan, I wish you light and peace.madam.a I know that in general and for healthy people its a good thibg - for sick ones too under supervison...i fated very often befor3 as we christs also do it in .. the islamic way without drinkig during the dsys CAN be a bit problematic - plz asks sport teachers for exaple;) ...surely only healthy people should do it, but tjeres kind of a little social pressure too...buzt in general I know its a good thing. It was prescribed by God and the teachings of the Prophets. It improves health by way of detox and a prevention from over and unnecessary eating. It helps to give up bad habits and be patient. It makes you appreciate what you have and value your meals. It's a way to realise how the underprivileged feel without food and drink. It makes you reunite with family and friends by sharing, caring and eating together. It's a time to reflect and thank God, help the needy and share from what you are blessed with.
Fasting may be a little difficult for the first few days as your doing something different than everyday but the body gets used to it very quickly. It's not as bad as many think. It's only 1 meal that's not eaten as early morning meal is taken and the fast is opened with a well prepared dinner. So it's just the lunch which is skipped. Imagine those who don't get 3 meals and are without food and drink for days on end. Here in Ramadan it's a great realisation and appreciation, with values to it's reasoning. It is also a month of forgiveness where one asks for forgiveness and are forgiving.

There's many good points about fasting and Ramadan which is so beautiful. Focusing on the fact that they starve (as many believe) and disregarding or not knowing the essence of it's true reason and it's beautiful concept would be now worth learning for a better understanding and increasing knowledge of other religions and cultures. It helps with integration, acceptance and understanding of communities :)
michaa2023 (43)in #someeofficial • 2 years agoRE: Be like a BUTTERFLY, PRETTY to look at but HARD to catch 😉🥰🦋 SHOW ME SOME LOVE GUYeah its my favorite
hivebuzz (74)in #someeofficial • 2 years agoRE: ROAD TO ATARAXIA (1/X) tbc "As you kiss your son good night, whisper to yourself, &Congratulations @alizerozero!
