Carrot

I know it's a step down from the stuff I usually make but this one was an a challenge to keep things as simple as possible. When I wanted to learn how to color anime drawings like your standard YT tutorial, I was also learning how to digitally pain semi-realism so whenever it came to the coloring portion I tend to "overdo" the process which messes up any direction I initially planned out.

It's a difficult habit to get rid off and cost me some time investing in coloring skills. It's like wanting to cook plain boiled eggs but I decided to ad lib and went for an omelet mid process then failing to pull it off then abandoning the entire thing altogether. I initially wanted it to look like a mandrake root but decided to limit the character into a carrot because the concept of a mandrake seemed cool and I might decide a painterly look which ruins the whole point of the practice.

The QR code I use as a watermark leads to my @artofadamada account on Hive as a landing page whenever I share my work across other social media. I doubt I'd get a significant reach as I am now but if I can get more people curious about where that QR code leads, hopefully it converts to more sign ups on the platform.

This is so cute, I'd like this as a sticker, the expression is just cute and hilarious, lolol. \(^o^)/

It’s way better than what I can paint . I’ve always wanted to learn painting since my high school .. but never found a good tutorial or an online resource.. would you mind suggesting me some online resources or tutorials?

All of the stuff I know came from sparing some time watching online resources for free, especially at Youtube. There's no shortage of them online.

Yeah, But can you suggest me a specific channel, good enough for a beginner like me!

What do you want to accomplish? traditional art or digital art? 3D sculpting? animation? You're asking me guides for goals you never shared. I could point you to anime style but what if anime style isn't what you're interested in.

Well I’m not looking for a career in this, but I want to accomplish this as a hobby. I want to start with anime style and then to 3D

Marc Brunet, SamDoesArts, Mikeymegamega

Their youtube channels are mainstream on the subject. I don't watch their channels as often as I used to because there are niche artists I prefer to follow. They are good starting points.

Nice look.

😂😂😂😂

My expression looking at some of ky lecturers teaching 😂
