I have not read many New Year's resolution posts this year on Hive. I guess this shit is no longer such a trend, and there's a reason why I call it shit: it just doesn't work. How many of you have religiously stuck with any of the resolutions you've made on New Year's Eve over the year?
Personally, I have always failed at doing that. I guess shit doesn't really work that way. Maybe if you are a smoker and you decide to quit it suddenly, like my father did 25 years ago, this is the way to go, but when it comes to improving yourself, it's a slow grind.
For many and many years in a row, I tried completely eliminating sugar from my diet, and til this date, I have not accomplished that. I manage to heavily reduce it during gym days (Monday to Friday), but weekends are such a pain in the ass.
I guess the trick to developing new skills and habits is to decide for yourself, make it clear in your mind, don't tell anyone about it, and gradually work towards reaching the goal. I have no New Year's resolution in regards to reading, but somehow managed to read two books since January 1st.
It has just become a quiet habit since I don't go out for coffee too often, as I did in the previous years. I guess saving money on coffee bought me more books. I did notice lately that I walk way less nowadays than I used to.
It's been long since I went to the downtown park, but I did it recently and decided to snap a few pics while doing that, like a sort of "long walks proof of work".
OK, now the story of the post had almost nothing to do with the pics, but I hope it helps. I sure know it helps me reading motivation stuff from others. I guess this is why I ordered and started reading "Market Wizards" recently.
I love hearing/reading stories from which I can apply some sort of knowledge to my daily life, and since I am in crypto for more than seven years now, I guess it is time I should polish myself as a crypto head.
Anyway, enough from my side for now. I wish you all a great and sunny day and see you next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
I do not do new year resolutions, but I do a yearly plan, and stick with it. Works much better.
The trick with sugar is to used better quality stuff, that is expensive and natural, and then you have less in the house. I only have honey and maple syrup, and I use them sparingly. Better for health also.
Danube?
I sometimes replace it with honey as well but in the end honey becomes a sort of addiction as well.
Half a spoon max per cup.
