IPAs - sure why not?
Anyone who reads my Beer Saturday posts from week to week will be well aware that I enjoy a pint of Guinness and I enjoy IPAs. I drink plenty of other beers in between and would be partial to a bottle of Leffe or a bottle of Peroni, but more times than not my Beer Saturday posts centre around Guinness or IPA.
Now seeing as last week's post was about the island of Inis Óir and the night spend there enjoying the scenery, hospitality, food and of course creamy pints of Guinness, this week I will revert to IPAs.
A while back, I had a project completion at work and I wanted to bring the guys out and celebrate, so I thought, Beers and Pizza, too easy and off we went one Thursday after work!
I mean you can't go wrong with Pizzas and beer really can you?
The photo does not do justice to the pizzas either. They were sublime.
I managed to get the lads a quick tour around the brewery too to learn a little bit about how each of the different beers were made and that went down well.
They had lots of beer posters and the like up around the place and there was a really cool vibe to the brewery come pizza and beer spot.
They even had a wall made out of Rascal's brewery can which was really cool, and we did a few spot prizes of 6 packs of beer for some of the guys to take away, so all in all it was a great night out and one we will repeat again soon.
