Conamara
I hadn't caught up with a good friend of mine from school in a long time, so we agreed a few months ago that I'd pick him up and we'd go for a walk out in Conamara and then a few pints of Guinness.
Here's a few taster photos from our walk, I'll do a full post on that another day.
This first photo is a reek of turf, a fuel that we use here in Ireland.
This second photo is of Foxes gloves flowers in the forest we visited.
This last one is from the top of the little mountain we climbed.
Pint O' Clock
After all the mountain climbing, forest walking and hiking, we were hungry and thirsty, so we stopped in Powers in Oughterard who do lovely food and mighty Guinness.
You'll know it's a good pint when the head is filled just above top of the glass, as can be seen below 👌

Reek of turf?
Isn't that just wood?😂😂😂😅
Nope definitely not wood dude!
Google turf or peat and you'll see what it is.
Hmmm
I'll check it out..
