Hi @starkerz!
You probably have read the post, any comment about how you (team) will get rid of the common issues?

trying out best. important to have vaultec working on the BTC bridge, as this is critical to Hive's security. we are refactoring the 3speak webapp at the moment. then after that we will move resources onto fixing the database and encoding issues

I'm not figuring what does vsc have to do with 3speak's daily problems. I think you know that there are daily complains on issue channel and sometimes is the support that have to upload and encode users videos one by one, do you know?
Don't you think this is incompatible with one of Hive's most promising apps in terms of potential and onboarding. It sounds very crafty and unprofessional, don't you think?
I hope and I wish you, without any irony, all success in making 3speak a bulletproof app.

Ye, thanks. Im well aware. Trust me, it hurts a lot more when you have put your own money and resources into it to end up with such a product.

Id have appreciated you DM me for this info, instead of putting it publicly on chain BTW, it is normal behavior to ask ppl before you publish articles about them which would probably have changed, had you had the discussion before you publish.

We are doing our best with the resources we have to make 3Speak a good as we can.

3Speak has a lot to do with VSC. our main dev is diverting resources to build it.

the BTC bridge is critical to hive, far more so than 3speak. 3speak will get better over the next few weeks and months.

I hope you will have the decency to contact the projects you write about before you publish in future.

Good luck

Id have appreciated you DM me for this info, instead of putting it publicly on chain BTW

Why would I contact you via DM about a subject that is of interest to the entire community? Why should I hide my opinion, and the opinions of others behind the scenes? I have nothing to hide, I hope you don't either.
I'm not understanding what you mean...

We are doing our best with the resources we have to make 3Speak a good as we can.

I believe and I have no doubts!

I hope you will have the decency to contact the projects you write about before you publish in future.

Decency??? Still not understanding what you mean... Am I lying or saying something wrong?

Let me tell you from where my post comes.

I have a huge collection of Hive/Dapps animation in full hd video format that I would like to upload on 3Speak but I don't (actually I can't find some videos uploaded 2 or 3 years ago, I think they are lost), and I don't because there is always problems when I've tried, or upload or encode, etc.. and I can't wait 5 hours to have a 10s video available to be posted.
Videos that could be available to all, to post on Twitter or whatever.
To share them I have to convert to gif, lose resolution and quality.
And it's not just me that give up of uploading videos to 3Speak as you should know.
What I'm asking, publicly (because I believe in freedom and others opinion and don't believe that the solution lies in hiding things and not talking openly), is to try to fix these daily issues.

I wonder if post was saying that 3Speak is the best app in the world, my decency reputation would be better and it would no longer be mandatory to contact anyone via DM.

Not saying you are hiding something, just when commenting on a project critically, like you are doing here, it is normal journalistic practise to reach out to the side you are criticising prior to publishing, as you can help your audience by telling them the comments you obtained from those you are critiquing in the story you are publishing before it becomes a critical only article and creates a false image about the project you are critiquing

@starkerz I understand it's not the best thing seeing someone talking about issues of your project, I really understand, but I'm not a journalist and as you know in the news world there are strange things, questions pre determined, answers truncated and manipulated, etc, etc, etc.
Here we are better than that, I've talked about the issues and made questions, you have the opportunity to reply in front of all without answers manipulated, take out of contest, etc. It's you that produce the answers and not me that present them to "my audience". Like that you can dismantle the false image that I created, if I created any.
