I've been reading the prompts and looking at the pictures of @mydivathings writting challenge and decided that today I would give it a shot. So here's my entry for day 173 of the writting challenge.

Thomas awoke on the shore line of an uncharted island the fire was slowly dying out rum bottles scattered across the beach served as a reminder of the night before. He slowly sat up and cursed as the sun beat down on his unprotected head, he wished he had spoken when Edward had stolen his worn hat as his own but had been to afraid to confront the larger man. As he looked around for his crew panic began to set in he was alone with means of protection, ways to find food or even start a fire to signal a passing ship he was on the God forsaken rock.

He jumped to his feet and raced down the shore line hoping to catch a glimpse of his ship, crew or even a rowboat coming back for him. Soon he came to a cove with a small opening at which he could look at to the sea and the sight he saw made his stomach drop. The his ship was but a tiny dot on the horizen he had been marooned with no chance of survival, alas should he have ever expected more from his crew mates of cut throat pirates?

He slowly made his way back to the now dead fire and contemplated his choices, he could simple walk into the ocean and let her over take him. This would be an easier option then slowly starving to death while waiting for a passing ship but he then realized he was not ready to head to Davy Jones locker just yet. He began to think of ways to get of this island and track down the crew that had left him behind, one day he would make them pay for this cowardly act this he swore.
